Nelson Rolon (Elijah Lee) started The Anime Guardians blog December 2011 as an attempt to do something productive with his winter break from college. The blog has continued to grow since then, and now serves as a journal for logging all of his various analyses and thoughts on the medium. In the last few months it has been key in developing his B.A. senior thesis, "Establishing a Post-human Identity in Mamoru Oshii's Ghost in the Shell and Innocence Films." He is also co-founder of a new anime news and blog site, ProjectOtaku.com.
Among his favorite shows and films are FLCL; the Ghost in the Shell franchise; the Monogatari series; Birdy the Mighty: Decode 02 and Clannad. If anyone has questions or comments concerning The Anime Guardians blog, feel free to email Elijah at anime.guardians03@gmail.com.
